The Future of Exodus8one.org and The Gadfly Project

Stay posted as the matters of the hotel damage will be addressed. We’re going to soon be freezing this website as it is now. It will be to serve as a historical record of these events that transpired in Beijing, China and around the world as thousands lifted their voice in support of the Gadfly Project’s message to ratiffy & release. There will be a few more posts before we do this. Also, we will have an email list that you can sign up for for future updates. As this leg of the project draws to a close, we invite you to take the time to explore some of the tough questions that have arisen during this time. To what lengths should Christians or Non-Christians go to in defense of the oppressed? What place does religion have in politics? Should the two be kept separate? What can be done about the injustices of the world around us and abroad? How can you play a part? Why go to the lengths of, as one journalist put it, “crossing the holy line of peaceful protest to civil disobediance?”

Soon, for the time being, the Gadfly Project will be closed. Join us in several months time as we take a deeper look into matters of human rights and revisit the Gadfly Project.

Regardless if people agree on the methods Gadfly used to convey the message. It was a great opportunity to learn about religious oppression .
